Our Leaders

The Exchange Church is an Elder-led church. That means that the ultimate responsibility for our church rests on the body of Elders. And in order for the Elders to accomplish their charge to preach and lead they have established a Pastoral Assist Team (PAT) to oversee key ministry areas on behalf of the Elders. The PAT also ensures that the people of The Exchange Church are being cared for and that their voice is being heard.

Elders

The Elders of The Exchange Church are called by God and approved by the members to govern, teach, and shepherd. They are chosen based on the qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3.1-7 in light of the Gospel and the grace of God.

Pastoral Assist Team (PAT)

The Pastoral Assist Team (known around here as the PAT) is an advisory board that aids the Elders in the decisions and strategy of The Exchange Church. The members of this team oversee key ministry areas in the church as godly examples of servants who lead. They provide counsel to the Elders on behalf of the members and provide ministry for the members on behalf of the Elders.

Beyond the Elders and the PAT, there are various other aspects of ministry that are crucial to The Exchange Church. Various directors and coordinators serve our Lord according to their various gifts in order to strengthen this local church body. The following people bring to life the vision of the Elders and act as the hands and feet of Jesus in specific ways.
